VIDEO OF THE WEEK: BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN – ‘CADILLAC RANCH’

May 6, 2019

The chances are that we ain’t ever going to agree on what the best Bruce Springsteen album is.

And that, given the sheer size of his magnificent back catalogue, is just how it should be.

But what is beyond debate is just how exciting his live shows are and this video, shot on The Boss’ 1980 tour in support of his fifth album, ‘The River’, captures all that’s best about him and the E Street Band.

Springsteen’s on fire here, but check out Max Weinberg’s metronomic drumming, Steven Van Zandt’s backing vocals and Clarence Clemons hitting up the front line with The Boss. It doesn’t get better than this.
