Not only did it help propel this dance floor smash to the top of the UK charts, it was also the first music video to be made by the directorial team of Vaughan Arnell and Anthea Benton.
They would go on to make promos for Terence Trent D’Arby, Jamiroquai and George Michael among many others.
And as first step go, this a mighty leap for everyone concerned.
