VIDEO OF THE WEEK: DEATH IN VEGAS – ‘SCORPIO RISING’

July 2, 2018

Less a band and more a melting pot of styles, genres and moods, Death In Vegas could only have come from DJ culture.

‘Scorpio Rising’ is named after experimental movie maker Kenneth Anger’s influential cult film of the same name.

Led by Richard Fearless and Tim Holmes, the DiV duo is here joined by former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher on vocals and shot through with a healthy dose of Status Quo’s 1968 hit ‘Pictures Of Matchstick Men’ thrown in for good measure.
Death In Vegas don’t so much wear their influences on their sleeve as make a suit out of them. But who cares when the fit is this good?
