VIDEO OF THE WEEK: Harry Nilsson – ‘Jump Into The Fire’

April 23, 2018

Memorably used by Martin Scorsese in the classic 1990 gangster flick ‘Goodfellas’ and covered by LCD Soundsystem, this clip of Harry Nilsson’s rocker is taken from the little-seen Ringo Starr-produced musical comedy, ‘Son Of Dracula’.

In it, Nilsson plays Count Downe, the offspring of the notorious vampire and his back up band in the film includes The Who’s Keith Moon and Led Zeppelin’s John Bonham alternating on drums, as well Peter Frampton and Klaus Voorman on guitar and The Rolling Stones’ horn section of Bobby Keys and Jim Price.

Truly an immortal line-up.
