VIDEO OF THE WEEK: MANIC STREET PREACHERS – ‘LITTLE BABY NOTHING’

November 18, 2019

The sixth and final single to be taken from their debut album, ‘Generation Terrorists’, ‘Little Baby Nothing’ finds Manic Street Preachers nailing their feminist flag to the mast.

Joined by former adult star Traci Lords on vocals, the song concerns itself with the sexual exploitation of women.

Speaking of Lords’ appearance, James Dean Bradfield said: “We needed somebody, a symbol, a person that could actually symbolize the lyrics and justify them to a certain degree. Traci was more than happy to do it.”

The video was directed by the late music journalist Steven Wilson with many of the featured slogans provided by co-lyricist and guitarist Rickey Edwards.
