– “Hips Don’t Lie” is Shakira’s best-selling song in the UK to date! The track spent 15 weeks inside the Top 10 on the Official UK Chart.
– The track is based on “Dance Like This”, a song Wyclef Jean had put out in 2004. Shakira renamed the song “Hips Don’t Lie” because when she is in the studio she knows when a song is ready and it can be taken “out of the oven” and it’s exactly when her hips start moving!
