VIDEO OF THE WEEK: The Pointer Sisters ‘Neutron Dance’

May 14, 2018

It’s funny how things turn out….

‘Neutron Dance’ was originally slated for director Walter Hill’s rock’n’roll fable Streets Of Fire but instead found itself on the soundtrack of the 1984 Eddie Murphy box office smash that was Beverley Hills Cop.

Eagle-eyed viewers will spot that The Pointer Sister’s boss at the beginning of the video is played by Bronson Pinchot.

He became such a huge star after his cameo as the gallerist Serge in Beverley Hills Cop that he had to leave the country for some peace and quiet!
