It’s entirely apt that, a few days after, what would’ve been his 51st birthday, we pause to consider his brief but seismic impact on the world of music.

An audacious musician with a voice that blended the soaring elements of Robert Plant, the soul of Van Morrison and the emotions of his own father, Tim, Jeff Buckley was a true one-off.

Of course, we could ponder on what might’ve been – but for now, let’s celebrate the truly incredible music that he left behind.
