It’s hard to believe that it’s been just over 13 years since Johnny Cash passed away.
And yet having departed this world for the next, he left behind an enormous legacy, the like of which that will undoubtedly be discovered, poured over and enjoyed for many generations to come.
As well as being an incredible singer, songwriter and performer, Cash was an amazing interpreter of other people’s material.
With this being his birthday week, here he is with a unique take on Kris Kristofferson’s ‘Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down’.
Shot in Denmark in 1971, Cash took the song to the top of the US country chart the previous year.
