Prefab Sprout – Steve McQueen Acoustic
In the summer of 2006, Paddy McAloon recorded new versions of tracks from Prefab Sprout’s classic album, ‘Steve McQueen’, rebuilding them from scratch with acoustic guitars, sequencers and sample. Those eight tracks are available on vinyl for the first time this RSD.

Jeff Buckley – In Transition
As ‘Grace’ celebrates its 25th Anniversary, RSD 2019 sees the arrival of seven previously unreleased studio performances in the form of ‘In Transition’, recorded during Buckley’s first sessions for Columbia Records in 1993.

Jeff Wayne – Pianos, Strings & Some Other Things
This is a x4 trk EP, pressed on numbered, heavyweight Black Vinyl. Compiled & composed by Jeff Wayne, featuring interpretations of songs from the iconic ‘The War Of The Worlds’ soundtrack.

Bob Dylan – Blood On The Tracks Original New York Test Pressing
Before the release of Dylan’s seminal ‘Blood On The Tracks’ in early 1975, a small number of test pressings circulated, consisting entirely of materials recorded at A&R Studios in New York – quickly becoming one of music’s most infamous bootlegs. This RSD LP is an exact duplicate of the test pressing, featuring unique mixes from the New York session.

Billy Joel – Live At Carnegie Hall 1977
Available on vinyl for the first time to mark RSD 2019 is Billy Joel’s June 3rd, 1977, performance at Carnegie Hall, New York City. Accompanied by live orchestration, Joel treated the audience to then-unreleased songs like ‘Scenes From An Italian Restaurant’ and ‘Just The Way You Are’.

Janis Joplin – Live At Woodstock: Sunday, August 17, 1969
Just weeks before the release of her debut record, ‘I Got Dem Ol’ Kozmic Blues Again Mama!’, Janis Joplin put in an epoch defining performance at Woodstock, now available on 2LP for the first time. The gig was an early indication of the exciting new direction her music would take, a journey picked up when her first album arrived.

Elvis Presley – Live At The International Hotel, Las Vegas, NV August 23, 1969
Following his triumphant comeback special on NBC at the end of 1968, Elvis made a highly publicised return to the live stage in 1969 with an exclusive engagement at The International Hotel, Las Vegas. The King treated fans to raucous rock shows, backed by vocal groups The Imperials and The Sweet Inspirations as well as an early incarnation of his TCB Band. Released on vinyl for the first time, this 2LP showcases the incredible and important phase in Elvis’ career.

Prince – The VERSACE Experience: PRELUDE 2 GOLD
Ahead of the release of The Gold Experience, Prince issued The VERSACE Experience: PRELUDE 2 GOLD as a gift to attendees of the designer’s collection at Paris Fashion Week during the summer of ’95. The cassette, which featured remixed versions of ‘P. Control’, ‘Gold’ and ‘Eye Hate U’, remains one of the rarest Prince releases ever – until the arrival of this RSD recreation.

Sly & The Family Stone – Live At Woodstock: Sunday, August 17, 1969
Despite hitting the stage at 3.30am, Sly & The Family Stone electrified a generation with their Woodstock performance. Five decades later and this energising performance makes its vinyl debut on 2LP.

Dennis Wilson, Taylor Hawkins, Brian May, Roger Taylor – Holy Man
Dennis Wilson wrote and recorded ‘Holy Man’ in 1977 during the sessions for the legendary ‘Pacific Ocean Blue’. Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins added vocals to long-unfinished track in 2009, and ten years later the track is renewed once again with new vocals and additional instrumentation from guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor, released for the first time as a 7″ single for RSD.
