“Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)” is taken from Journey’s album Frontiers and was released in 1983. It peaked at #8 for six weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Now don’t listen to the band’s Wikipedia page which states this video has been named “one of the worst videos ever”! We at team Legacy totally disagree…
It begins with a lady rocking the sidewalk in a killer pair of 80s heels, totally oblivious to the band’s presence… (how can you be with THOSE moves being thrown at you)
And a lot of invisible-instrument playing (keyboards on the left are especially convincing)
Steve Perry’s facial expression is totally adequate:
And look how seriously they are about the job, even playing on-the-wall keyboard is done with 100% passion:
We say CONGRATS Journey, your video is BRILLIANT!!
