Introducing our new monthly Artist Spotlight feature where we select one artist to be our artist of the month.

Kicking things off with our first Artist Spotlight is none other than Craig David, whose debut album “Born To Do It” recently turned 21 years old!

The past 21 years have seen Craig David sell more than 15 million records, achieve seven Top 40 albums on the Official UK Chart and gain a massive 14 Brit Award nominations. Here’s a couple of things you may or may not already know about Craig:

– Since the start of his career, Craig has spent a total of 175 weeks in the Top 40 on the Official UK Singles Chart. “Re-rewind” was Craig’s first Top 10 hit on the UK Chart debuting at #2.

– “Fill Me In” and “7 Days” are both Craig’s best-selling single in the UK. “Fill Me In” was the first of two No.1 Singles in the year 2000 for Craig.

– Craig’s debut album “Born To Do It” was released in 2000 and hit #1 on the UK Chart. The album sold over 8 million copies worldwide and became the fastest-selling debut album by a British male solo act.

– At age 19, Craig became the youngest British male solo artist ever to hit the Number 1 spot on the UK Charts with “Fill Me In”.
