– Spanning five decades, Elvis Presley had three number 1 singles in the month of January and a total of 7 top 10s with songs ‘Jailhouse Rock’, ‘Return To Sender’, ‘Suspicious Minds’, ‘My Way’, ‘Always On My Mind’, ‘One Night / I Got Stung’ and ‘It’s Now Or Never’.
– Elvis has been inducted into five halls of fame: Rock N Roll, Country, Gospel, Rockabilly and R&B.
– Elvis’ best-selling single in the UK is ‘It’s Now Or Never’ which spent eight weeks at the top between 1960 and 1961 and returned to the top again in 2005.
– ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ is Elvis’ most-streamed song to date.
– In 1959 he became the first artist to release an album without an artist name on the cover, front or back, with the album LP Fans Only.
