We’re pleased to announce that the first two beloved solo records from Annie Lennox – one half of our Artists of the Month Eurythmics as well as legendary singer songwriter, activist and icon – today receive a long-awaited re-release on 12″ vinyl.
Lennox’s solo debut was originally released in 1992. Debuting at number one in the UK album charts the record went on to sell over 1.2 million copies in the UK alone, winning the ’93 Brit Award for Best British Album. An essential cornerstone for modern pop.
Originally released in 1995 and consisting entirely of cover versions, Annie Lennox’s second solo outing also debuted at number one and to date has sold over 6 million copies worldwide. The album spawned four singles, of which ‘No More ‘I Love You’s’ won ‘Best Pop Vocal Performance (Female)’ at the 1996 Grammy Awards.
